Local authority, Mobilization condemn crime of Saudi enemy aircraft in Al-Barh area of Maqbanah, Taiz
The local authority and Mobilization explained in a statement issued by them that the Saudi aggression aircraft directly and brutally targeted the home of citizen Mohammed Saeed Al-Quz, completely destroying it and causing the martyrdom and injury of a number of civilians, most of them women and children, in an extension of its series of brutal crimes against the sons of the Yemeni people.
The statement considered the deliberate targeting of civilian objects and inhabited homes and their destruction over the heads of their residents a fully constituted war crime and a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws and covenants, reflecting a state of moral bankruptcy and disregard for the blood of Yemenis and their right to life.
It noted that the Saudi enemy’s persistence in committing massacres against unarmed civilians will not deter the people of Maqbanah District, the free people of Taiz, and the Yemeni people in general from adhering to their position, but will only increase their strength, cohesion, and steadfastness in the battle to defend the land, national sovereignty, and the dignity of the people, affirming that the blood of the martyrs will remain fuel for dignity and for pursuing the killers.
The local authority and Mobilization held the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations, regionally and internationally, legally and morally responsible for the continuation of unjustified silence before these flagrant violations, demanding that they leave the square of complicity and work seriously to document these crimes and hold their perpetrators accountable.
